Study Finds Older Women Benefit From Yoga

Researchers recently enrolled two dozen women over the age of 65 in a 9-week yoga program and found that despite a lack of experience the women found increased confidence in walking and balance after just a few weeks.
After practicing a specific style of yoga known as 'Iyengar,' women saw additional benefits such as a faster stride and the ability to stand on one leg.
