A whale was spotted swimming around in the San Francisco Bay on Thursday.

The U.S. Coast Guard said they first received reports of a whale Wednesday, and it was spotted again Thursday by people on the shore near Crissy Field.

It's not uncommon to see a whale or two in the bay at this time of year, but experts said things can get dicey with all of the container ships.
