Police Search For Toilet Parts Thief

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) ― Sacramento police are looking for a thief they say has an affinity for toilet parts.

Investigators say the man is suspected of stealing plumbing and flushing mechanisms from two urinals in the California State Auto Association building in July.

Several similar incidents involving a man dressed like a plumber have been reported recently in nearby Placer County.

Investigators suspect the thief may be taking the metal parts for their value as salvage.

Police are releasing a surveillance photograph of the man and asking the public's help in finding him.
