Florida Tyke Goes From Kindergarten To Mozart

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS) ― Ethan Bortnick is a child prodigy, but he's really no different from any other 6 year old.

He like's to have a good time. "We're going to have so much fun," he exclaimed as the crowd clapped when he walked on stage to perform his piano concert.

Ethan enjoys memorizing at least 200 songs and playing them on the piano. He composes numerous others about animals like koala bears and cheetahs.

His current concert at the Amaturo Theater in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. is being recorded and will probably end up selling in all parts of the world on DVD.

Hundreds of families came out to be part of it all. Some of Ethan's classmates admit they have to practice a lot to keep up with him.

One student said, "I play the piano, but he does really good. I'm not as good as him, though."

All this attention can wear a youngster out a little, but on stage he has endless energy, even enough to do a rendition of "Old McDonald".
