Bay Area Dentist Offers Sweet Candy Buyback Deal

WALNUT CREEK (CBS 5) ― A Bay Area dentist isn't telling kids to stay away from candy this year. Instead she wants them to bring plenty of it in and help provide a sweet treat for the troops.

You'd think extracting a pound of Halloween candy from a kid would be as hard as extracting a pound of flesh. But Dr Julie Greenlaw-O'Toole of Walnut Creek is having a lot of success. She's making her own tradition out of the buyback plan and sending it to troops overseas.
