Former Brewers manager Ned Yost says he feels he accomplished everything he set out to do except for taking Milwaukee to the playoffs.
Yost was fired Monday and replaced with third-base coach Dale Sveum. The Brewers are tied with Philadelphia for the NL wild-card lead with 12 games to play.
Yost spoke in a conference call Tuesday.
He spent almost six seasons with the team and led the Brewers from a pair of 94-loss seasons to winning records in two of the last three years.
