SF Budget Battle On City Hall Steps

Opposing rallies over proposed budget cuts outside the San Francisco Board of Supervisors meeting pitted human services vs. public safety on Tuesday, June 16. Mayor Gavin Newsom was on hand to lend support to the public safety funding supporters. Inside, supervisors passed a new budget that slashes spending by $82 million.
