Fatal BART Shooting Caught On Tape

A 22-year-old man died on New Year's day after being shot on the Fruitvale BART platform by a transit agency police officer responding to reports of fighting on an arriving train. The man's family has filed a $25 Million excessive force claim.

The men continued to yell at each other after the Dublin/Pleasanton-bound train stopped, and police were in the process of separating the men at the time of the shooting.
