Bear Cub Recovering From Wildfire Burns

"Li'l Smokey" was rescued by a firefighter Thursday, July 17, in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest west of Redding. He was suffering from serious burns on his paws and was dehydrated, but officials say the cub will do just fine.

The cub made heart-wrenching cries as volunteers worked to change the bandages on his paws.
