2008 Mavericks Surf Contest

A 24-year-old Southern California surfer won the big-wave surf contest off the Northern California coast. Greg Long was named the winner of the 2008 Mavericks surf contest after competing in the all-day event against 23 other elite surfers in Half Moon Bay.
