Athletic Trainers In Demand During Recession

MORAGA (CBS 5) ― For many people, working with athletes and traveling with the team is a dream job. But athletic trainers are in demand, with a lot of openings even in this economy.

Trainers assess athletes' injuries and assist in their rehabilitation. Now companies such as Disney, FedEx and even wineries are hiring athletic trainers. In most cases, having a trainer on staff is cheaper than dealing with workplace injuries.
