From Lou in Pleasant Hill:
I support president Obama's ideas for health care change. I believe it is imperative that we have a public option for health care coverage for all.
From Mary in San Jose:
I have had Kaiser insurance for some 45 years now. I have had it in the past through my employers, however, I am on disability now because I am a dialysis patient and waiting for a kidney transplant, and have to pay for it on my own.
I was appalled this week when I found out that I am in what Kaiser calls the "donut hole" with regards to my medication. Because of my conditions (I'm also diabetic), I have to take roughly $800-900 in medication (full price) instead of the $35 per prescription co-pay.
This will go on until I hit $4700 or until January 1. I'm on disability and probably will not be able to afford most of my medications. I think this "donut hole" is cruel, unnecessary and down right wrong.
