San Jose-Oakland-San FranciscoCBS 5 (KPIX-TV) Eyewitness News at 11pm is #1 for the November 2008 sweep period according to Nielsen Media Research. Dana King and Ken Bastida co-anchor the CBS 5 Eyewitness News at 11pm, Monday through Friday, which has consistently ranked as the #1 newscast in either households and/or the key adults 25-54 demographic since February 2003, winning 13 out of the last 16 major sweep periods and 10 out of the last 11 non-Olympic impacted sweep periods.
"Once again we had the #1 newscast at 11pm among total viewers. I am very grateful that viewers continue turning to KPIX for news throughout the day, as well as to The CW44/Cable 12 at 10pm," said Dan Rosenheim, Vice President and News Director of CBS 5.
