CBS 5 WINS NORCAL RTNDA AWARDS IN SIX CATEGORIES

San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose-- CBS 5 (KPIX-TV) Eyewitness News won awards in six categories at the NorCal RTNDA Banquet, more than any other local station --. The awards were presented on November 15, 2008.

so was the big winner, sharing in five of the awards. Our investigative team members Anna Werner, Craig Franklin, Abby Sterling and Gerald Watson each won four. Our team led by Dana King won for their series of special reports from Ghana, and Wendy Tokuda, with Sandy Lee as EP, won for the story of her mother's long struggle to receive her college degree.
