California Lawmakers Look To End Suburban Sprawl

In California Sprawl is about to become the enemy.

This week the California legislature is expected to pass a groundbreaking law that seeks to control the breaking of ground on new developments statewide.

The state would stop providing up to $20 billion a year in incentives-including highway and roadway work that promote suburban sprawl and instead back projects which are "green" friendly and will help reduce global warming.
