Poll: Running Mates May Swing CA Presidential Vote

(CBS 5) Results of a Survey USA poll released Wednesday show that presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain trails probable Democratic rival Barack Obama among registered California voters. However, a number of the potential voters surveyed indicated that they would change their vote based on the running mate chosen by the respective presidential hopefuls. According to the survey, some ticket combinations could tip the November vote in favor of McCain.

The following results reflect a poll of 600 registered California voters, with a Margin of Sampling Error for each question of plus or minus 4.1 percent.
