Nader Brings Presidential Bid To Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― Ralph Nader can still draw a crowd, like one at San Francisco's Roxie Theater on Sunday night. In an interview with CBS 5 on Monday, Nader said he is running on issues rooted in his record as a consumer advocate.

Nader told CBS 5 he is supporting issues such as universal health care, a fairer tax system, along with a withdrawal deadline in Iraq. He said his issues are supported by a majority of the American people.

But Nader will be infamous to some because of the 2000 election, when he won three percent of the national vote.
