Lt. Governor Candidates Debate On CBS5.com

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ― On Monday, California's lieutenant governor candidates, Democrat John Garamendi and Republican Tom McClintock, debated before the San Francisco Chronicle's Editorial board at the CBS 5 studios in San Francisco.

The meeting was the last in a series of webcasted forums here on CBS5.com that the Chronicle's editorial board has held with various candidates for state office.

It should be noted that California gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides appeared by himself in a question-and-answer session after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declined the invitation by the Chronicle to debate his challenger.
