Who's Leading California Out Of The Budget Mess?

SACRAMENTO (CBS 5) ― By all accounts, California is in a terrible financial crisis, so you would think state lawmakers would be spending all of their time in Sacramento trying to fix the financial problems. That's not exactly what we found in Sacramento.

Problems with the state budget are so bad that Governor Schwarzenegger called an emergency session of the legislature to deal with it. But we found nearly empty halls at the usually-bustling state capitol Wednesday.

Our video report has more on the seeming absence of leadership during the California budget crisis.
