A family has been attached to a gray tabby found cocooned in duct tape in North Philadelphia, according to
CBS station KYW-TV.
After receiving dozens of applications, an anonymous family has adopted the cat nicknamed "Sticky."
The cat was found wrapped from neck to tail in duct tape on September 22. Despite spending over 12 hours in bondage, Sticky only suffered from minor dehydration.
James Davis, 19, admitted to taping up the feline due to a distressed mental state. He is facing charges of cruelty to animals and related offenses.
He is currently in custody awaiting a psychological evaluation and could face up to 2 years in prison.
