The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office was alerting residents of a mountain lion sighting in Woodside Tuesday morning.
A resident at 5 Vintage Court reported seeing the big cat in the driveway of the property about 7:05 a.m., San Mateo County sheriff's Lt. Ray Lunny said.
There was no physical evidence of the mountain lion's presence, but deputies spoke to the property owner and believe the sighting is legitimate, Lunny said.
Anyone who sees the mountain lion is asked to call the sheriff's office at (650) 363-4915.
