Mountain Lion Spotted Near Half Moon Bay Airport
PRINCETON-BY-THE-SEA (BCN) ―
A mountain lion was reportedly spotted in the Princeton-by-the-Sea area of San Mateo County Monday afternoon and an alert immediately went out to county residents.
According to county officials, the feline was spotted around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Bernal Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, not far from the Half Moon Bay Airport.
Residents in the areas of Princeton-by-the-Sea, Miramar, El Granada, Moss Beach and Montara were quickly notified of the sighting by the SMC Alert System.
Anyone spotting a mountain lion should call 911 or Sgt. R. Johnson at (650) 573-2844.
