Looking Back: Pope John Paul II's U.S. Visits

NEW YORK (CBS) ― From 1979 to 1999, Pope John Paul II made seven trips to the United States. While some were simply travel stopovers in Alaska lasting hours, others were grand productions which drew thousands of Catholics to see the Vatican leader. Below are highlights looking back at some of those papal visits.
