Some sort of an explosion leveled a house in New Castle, Pennsylvania around 1pm Monday afternoon.
The blast apparently then ignited several nearby homes along Franklin Avenue.
Medical helicopters have flown at least two people to area hospitals.
At this point, it's not clear if anyone was inside the house at the time or how many people were injured.
KDKA-TV's helicopter flew over the scene near East Washington and Elmira Streets showing debris scattered throughout the neighborhood.
Firefighters are busy dousing the thick white smoke with water.
Officials are not yet commenting on the cause of the explosion.
