Woman's Body Found In Car At Oakland Wal-Mart

OAKLAND (CBS 5 / BCN) ― A woman was found dead Monday in what was believed to be an abandoned car in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Oakland, authorities said.

The Alameda County coroner's bureau identified the victim as 46-year old Wannetta Bullock.

Officers found the Oakland resident in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked at the store, located at 8400 Edgewater Drive, around 5 a.m.

There were no immediate signs of foul play, a coroner's bureau investigator said, however the official cause of death had not yet been determined.

An autopsy was pending and police homicide detectives continued to investigate the incident.
