San Francisco's Virgin Megastore on the corner of Stockton and Market streets will be closing its doors in late April.

The Union Square store joins two New York Virgin Megastores in shutting their doors in late April, most notably the store located in Times Square.

Details regarding the San Francisco's store closure are expected to be released this Friday. A company spokesman said that the closure is likely due to real estate and the value connected to the location.

A liquidation sale will begin in March.

The remaining Virgin Megastores are located in Hollywood, Denver and Orlando.
