Gunmen Sought In Vallejo Takeover Robberies
VALLEJO (BCN) ―
Vallejo police are investigating two takeover-style robberies that occurred at a 7-Eleven store on Saturday night and a Hollywood Video on Friday.
The 7-Eleven was robbed just before midnight Saturday by three suspects wearing dark clothing and ski masks, one of whom pistol-whipped a clerk after a safe was opened, police said.
The same 7-Eleven, located at 2580 Springs Road, was robbed on Tuesday by a person wearing a hooded sweatshirt who simulated a handgun, police said.
The Hollywood Video store, just a block away at 2663 Spring Road, was robbed around 9:40 p.m. Friday by two armed suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and gray bandanas.
The robbers in that case told everyone to lie down, then took their money and fled, police said.
No suspects have been arrested in any of the robberies.
