Vallejo Child Removed After Mom Busted For Meth
VALLEJO (BCN) ―
Officers from a multi-jurisdictional methamphetamine enforcement team arrested three people, seized a cache of drugs and removed an 8-year-old child from a home in Vallejo on Thursday.
Sheriff's narcotics officers reported witnessing a woman selling drugs in Vallejo and obtained a warrant to search her home in the 1000 block of Virginia Street, according to the Solano County Sheriff's Department.
Vallejo police joined the narcotics team to enter the dealer's home. The suspect was later identified as 36-year-old Tricia Felix.
Officers reported finding a child and three adults in the home, two of whom were trying to flush a cache of methamphetamine down a toilet, according to the sheriff's office.
Officers seized approximately two ounces of meth along with Vicodin pills, according to the sheriff's office.
The 8-year-old child was removed by Solano County Child Protective Services.
Felix was arrested for sales of methamphetamine, sales of narcotics, destruction of evidence and child endangerment.
Abdul Boatmann, 29 was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was held on a parole violation.
Marquis Warren, 40, was arrested for sales of methamphetamine, sales of narcotics and destruction of evidence, according to the sheriff's office.
