Vacaville Teen Jailed In Friend's Stabbing

Vacaville police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of stabbing his friend in the abdomen Tuesday during an argument.

Sgt. Matt Lydon said officers found the stabbing victim in the front yard of a house in the 200 block of Spindrift Way around noon.

Police found the suspect next door, Lydon said. He was treated at Vaca Valley Hospital and released.

The suspect was booked into juvenile hall for assault with a deadly weapon, Lydon said.
