Student Arrested For 4 Rapes At USF Dorms
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / AP / BCN) ―
A University of San Francisco student was arrested on campus late Thursday following accusations that he assaulted and raped four female students.
San Francisco police arrested 21-year-old Ryan Caskey a politics
major and cadet in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program following the alleged attacks that took place at university residence halls over the past several months.
Investigators said all the women knew Caskey, and were being given counseling.
"Living on campus you kind of feel like you're in a little bubble," said one student who didn't want to be named. "It's really terrifying actually knowing that can happen so close to you."
Caskey faces four felony counts of rape and assault. He has been suspended from school and was being held in county jail.
Police asked anyone else who might have been a victim of the suspect to contact SFPD's Sex Crimes Detail at (415) 553-1361.
