Teen Badly Injured In Tiburon Hit-And-Run

TIBURON (CBS 5 / BCN) ― The California Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a white Ford van that struck a 15-year-old boy walking on the northbound U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp to Tiburon Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.

The boy was taken to Marin General Hospital with major injuries but is expected to survive, the CHP said.

The CHP is not releasing the boy's name because he is a minor, CHP Officer Chris Rardin said. The CHP does not know if the van exited the freeway, Rardin said. The incident happened around 5:40 p.m.
