Man Arrested For Slicing Teen's Neck In So. SF

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A 28-year-old man was arrested Monday for allegedly slicing a juvenile victim's neck with a knife in South San Francisco, according to the Police Department.

Officers responded to the 200 block of California Avenue at about 12:45 a.m. and found the victim with a laceration to the neck, police said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where the victim's injuries were determined to be non-life threatening but required 18 stitches, according to police.

The suspect, Gabino Zaragoza of South San Francisco, was subsequently arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail for attempted murder, police said.
