A pair of robbers hit the Royal Nail Spa in Oakland at 5:00 Sunday, less than 24 hours after an Oakland pizza parlor was held up by masked men.
At least one of the two men who robbed Mamma Rosa's Pizza Saturday was armed with a gun when stole money from the business and its employees in the 2300 block of High Street around 10:30 p.m., police said.
No customers were in the store and no injuries were reported, police said.
Police had few details on Sunday's robbery, but did say that they were searching for two suspects, and that the robbery was near the Nomad Cafe, which was robbed earlier in the week.
The takeover-style robberies are similar to a string of robberies that started at the end of July and usually involved three suspects. Since July, several restaurants, employees and customers have been robbed by masked males, usually at night and usually without injury.
Another takeover-style robbery took place on Friday night in the 6500 block of Shattuck Avenue just after 10 p.m.
Earlier this month, police announced they would reward up to $30,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the initial string of robberies.
Police have not announced any arrests.
