 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― A 53-year-old San Francisco man accused of stabbing his brother to death Sunday afternoon during an argument at the Sunset District home they shared has been charged with murder.

Anton Bajjalieh appeared in San Francisco Superior Court this morning but his entry of a plea was postponed until Friday, according to a courtroom sheriff's deputy.

Bail was set at $1 million, the deputy said.

According to police, Bajjalieh's brother Isam, 48, was found at
about 4:15 p.m. in a home in the 1600 block of 26th Avenue, where the brothers lived.

Following a verbal dispute, Anton Bajjalieh allegedly fatally stabbed his brother and then fled before police arrived, only to be arrested when he returned to the home, where officers were waiting, at about 2 a.m. Monday.
