Man Linked To Sunnyvale Burglaries Arrested
SUNNYVALE (BCN) ―
Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers responding to a burglary call were greeted at the front door by the alleged burglar, Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officials reported.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Mahogany Lane on Dec. 30. After hearing noises inside the residence, officers confronted the suspect at the front door, which led to a foot chase.
Larry Bryan, 53, of San Jose, was arrested and officers found stolen property in his possession that was allegedly taken from another residential burglary earlier in the evening, Sunnyvale officials reported.
Bryan has been charged with three counts of residential burglary and one count of resisting arrest.
After search warrants were served at Bryan's home more evidence was collected.
During the investigation, Bryan's wife, Joy Bryan, 51, was also arrested for allegedly being an accessory to her husband's crimes.
Bryan has been linked to other burglaries in Sunnyvale and Cupertino. The case is under investigation, officials reported.
