Suspect ID'd In Sunnyvale Strip Club Murders

The identities of two victims and a suspect in connection with a double homicide outside a Sunnyvale strip club Sunday night were released Monday night by the city's Department of Public Safety.
Menlo Park resident, Benjamin Osegura, 31, and San Mateo resident Jason William Gamino, 29, were found fatally shot Sunday around 9:30 p.m. inside a vehicle parked outside the Brass Rail strip club, 160 East Persian Drive.
According to Public Safety officials, the two were acquaintances and were found in a 2006 Range Rover.
"I saw one man laying on the ground, and the officer told me there were two of them that were dead. One was inside the car, slumped over the wheel," neighbor John Martinez told KCBS Radio. Martinez said he walked over to investigate after he heard five gunshots around 9:30 p.m.
Police spent hours overnight investigating the crime scene. The bodies of the two victims were removed just before 5 a.m. Monday.
Police are not saying what might have sparked the murders, but according to witnesses, one of the victims was a regular at the Brass Rail, who had never caused any problems in the past.
The manager on duty at the Brass Rail club declined to comment on the matter.
Detectives identified 29-year-old San Mateo resident Matthew Andrew O'Reilly as a suspect. He was last seen driving a silver 2006 Nissan Altima with California license plate 5UFY655. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who observes O'Reilly or his vehicle is advised to call 911. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call (408) 730-7110.
