U.S. Postal Service mail carriers from Los Gatos and Watsonville are expected to resumed full deliveries Tuesday to rural areas near where a 3,870-acre fire is burning in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a spokesman said.
All deliveries were made in the Los Gatos area Saturday, but 60 deliveries were canceled in the Watsonville area, said Augustine Ruiz, spokesman for Bay-Valley District of the U.S. Postal Service.
About 180 deliveries throughout the region were canceled Friday due to the Summit Fire.
Residents who have missed deliveries can pick up their mail at the Los Gatos Post Office, located at 101 S. Santa Cruz Ave., or at the Watsonville Post Office, at 225 Main St.
