2 Rescued From 4-Alarm Stockton Condo Fire

STOCKTON (CBS) ― Police and firefighters rescued two women trapped inside a Stockton condominium complex Thursday morning as a 4-alarm fire burned through the buildings.

The fire broke out just after 3:30 a.m. at a complex on Rosemary Lane just off March Lane near Delta college.

Stockton firefighters say two women were trapped inside when they first arrived. Stockton police officers were able to rescue one women while firefighters were able to free the other trapped woman through a window. The women were both treated at the scene and neither was taken to the hospital.

The fire was under control by 5 a.m. but firefighters were still pouring water on the smoldering embers afterword. Arson investigators were on the scene trying to determine the cause of the blaze.

The fire was just down the street from where another fire on June 10th destroyed 9 homes and 20 condos.
