Novato Man Accused Of Stalking, Text Threats
PETALUMA (BCN) ―
Petaluma police on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old man who allegedly vandalized his ex-girlfriend's car and sent her death threats via text message.
Novato resident Thomas Edwin Halloran allegedly vandalized his ex-girlfriend's car on Monday and evaded arrest for most of the day Tuesday, police said.
During that time, Halloran allegedly sent the woman text messages saying he had and gun and threatening to kill her and her children, according to police.
The Marin County Sheriff's Office located Halloran on Tuesday, turning him over to Petaluma police for arrest.
He was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of stalking, criminal threats, felony vandalism and probation violation, police said.
Halloran also may face additional charges in Marin County, police said.
