2 Stabbed At Antioch Club, Another At Toll Plaza

ANTIOCH (BCN) ― The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office and Antioch police are investigating three stabbings Saturday that are reportedly connected.

At about 1:50 a.m., Antioch Police Department officers were dispatched to the Antioch Bridge toll plaza to assist sheriff deputies with a stabbing.

Deputies found George Urrutia bleeding at the toll plaza. It was discovered that this incident was related to a previously unreported stabbing at a club in downtown Antioch at about 1:30 a.m., police reported.

While at the club, George Urrutia's brother, Michael Urrutia, 20, was stabbed and had already gone to Sutter Delta Hospital for treatment.

Michael Urrutia's wounds were determined to be superficial. He was treated and released.

George Urrutia was transported to an area hospital and his condition was not released.

The Rio Vista Police Department and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle at state Highway 160 and state Highway 12 that was allegedly involved in the incident at the toll plaza.

Another stabbing victim, John Flenoy, was located in that vehicle with a stab wound to the leg. The 22-year-old man was transported to another hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The assault at the bridge is being investigated by the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office. The one at the club is being investigated by the Antioch Police Department.

Anybody who witnessed the incident at the Antioch club is asked to call the Police Department at (925) 778-2441.
