Man Robbed Near South San Francisco ATM
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
Police in South San Francisco are seeking a man who robbed a city resident near an ATM Wednesday night.
The victim had withdrawn money from an automatic teller machine in the 300 block of Linden Avenue when, at 9:45 p.m., the suspect approached the victim, brandished a black gun and demanded money, according to police.
The victim surrendered cash, an ATM card and the receipt of his transaction, and the suspect then ran toward the parking lot in the 300 block of Miller Avenue, police said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Pacific Island man between the ages of 25 and 30, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, black shirt with a white design and dark pants.
Police said the suspect may have left the area in a red sedan that was last seen traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes in the 200 block of Tamarack Lane.
