N. Bay Teens Jailed In Girl's Alleged Sex Assault

SONOMA (BCN) ― Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in a car in Sonoma early Sunday morning.

Sheriff's deputies stopped a motorist around 2:30 a.m. at Verano Avenue and Riverside Drive, near Maxwell Farms Regional Park, on suspicion of
drunken driving, Sonoma County Sheriff's Sgt. Dave Thompson said.
 
The car contained three boys from Agua Caliente and the 14-year-old girl.

The girl told deputies she had just been sexually assaulted by two of the teen boys in the car, Thompson said. She was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital where she was treated for heavy alcohol intoxication and released, Thompson said.

The juveniles, who were all acquaintances, had been drinking wine at El Verano School on Riverside Drive between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Thompson said.

Once the girl was heavily intoxicated, two of the teens allegedly sexually assaulted her, Thompson said.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested for felony sexual assault of an intoxicated minor and forced oral copulation of an intoxicated minor, Thompson said.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for sexual penetration with a foreign object, Thompson said.
