3.0 Earthquake Shakes Sonoma County
THE GEYSERS (BCN) ―
The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck this morning in Sonoma County.
According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 5:45 a.m. and had a depth of about 2.2 miles.
The epicenter was first reported by the USGS to be about 1 mile northeast of The Geysers and about 12 miles east of Cloverdale.
