Woman Arrested In SF Hotel Death
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
Police arrested a San Francisco woman for murder after she reported her male friend unconscious in his South of Market apartment Sunday night and officers arrived to find him dead.
Police spokesman Sgt. Wilfred Williams said Monday that the woman, 34-year-old Kira Roueche, called police at about 8 p.m. to the man's apartment at 106 Sixth St.
Paramedics arrived at the apartment, located in the Henry Hotel, and declared the man dead. The medical examiner's office identified him Monday as 42-year-old Cameron Miller.
Homicide inspectors interviewed Roueche and determined her "to be involved in the death," Williams said. She was placed under arrest early this morning.
Williams declined to release any further information about the case.
The medical examiner's office has yet to determine a cause.
