SF Woman To Face Charges In Boyfriend's Death
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
Prosecutors on Tuesday decided to file murder charges against a San Francisco woman who allegedly beat her boyfriend to death Sunday at a hotel in the city's South of Market District.
District Attorney's Office spokesman Brian Buckelew said 34-year-old Kira Roueche allegedly used a vodka bottle and a clock to kill 42-year-old Cameron Miller inside their apartment at the Henry Hotel, located at 106 Sixth St.
The pair had reportedly been living together for the last six months.
Police said Roueche called 911 around 8 p.m. Sunday to report Miller unconscious.
Paramedics arrived and declared Miller dead. Roueche was interviewed by homicide inspectors and arrested early the next morning.
Prosecutors will charge Roueche with one count of murder with the use of a deadly weapon allegation, as well as two counts of assault with a deadly weapon resulting in great bodily injury, Buckelew said.
Roueche, who remains in custody, is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in San Francisco Superior Court on Thursday morning, according to Buckelew.
