 CBS 5 CrimeWatch

SOLANO (BCN) ― Fairfield police said a man robbed the Solano First Credit Union and escaped with cash Tuesday afternoon.

Detective Cleo Mayoral said the robbery happened around 2:20 p.m. in the Raley's shopping center in the 3300 block of N. Texas Street.

The suspect gave the teller a demand note but did not show or mention a gun, Mayoral said.

Police and a CHP helicopter searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

The robber is a dark-skinned, heavy-set white male around 27 years old, 5 feet 10 inches and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a black coat and blue jeans, Mayoral said.
