Small Earthquakes Rattle South Bay
MILPITAS (BCN) ―
Two small earthquakes shook the South Bay early Monday morning near Milpitas and San Jose, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
USGS reported the first earthquake's epicenter, with a 2.4 magnitude, was about 3.9 miles deep, about 5 miles east of Milpitas and about 9 miles northeast of San Jose.
An earthquake with 1.9 magnitude shook in the same area at 5:50 a.m., according to USGS.
