San Jose Tire Shop Burns For Hours

Firefighters Tuesday morning remained at the scene of a three-alarm fire that started at a tire shop in San Jose Monday night, a dispatcher said.
The fire was first reported at around 10:10 p.m. at AA Calderon Tires & Wheels near the intersection of South First and Union streets, San Jose fire Capt. Skip Bloom said.
The fire burned for more than five hours before it was declared under control at around 3:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation this morning, the dispatcher said. There were no injuries reported.
