2 Shot In SF Bayview District
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
San Francisco police are investigating an incident in the Bayview District Saturday in which two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, including one with life-threatening injuries, and a third person was injured after being struck by a vehicle.
The incident was reported at 11:32 a.m. on Kirkwood Avenue near Third Street, police Lt. Lyn Tomioka said.
Two people were shot, including one that suffered life-threatening injuries, Tomioka said.
A third victim was treated for their injuries and later released after being struck by a vehicle on Kirkwood Avenue at the same time as the shooting, Tomioka said. It was not immediately clear if the vehicle that struck the victim was involved in the shooting, she said.
No arrests have been made and no motive has been established for the shooting, according to Tomioka.
