Police Seek Missing SF Woman With Alzheimer's

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ― Authorities asked the public's help Saturday in locating an 84-year-old woman with Alzheimer's who apparently went missing from her daughter's San Francisco home late Friday night.

Alice Jones was last seen going to bed at her daughter's home in the 2400 block of Bayshore Boulevard in the city's Bayview District around midnight Friday, San Francisco police Sgt. Wilfred Williams said.

At about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jones' daughter discovered Jones was missing from her room, Williams said.

Jones is black, 130 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall, according to Williams. She has gray hair and brown eyes, Williams said.

Anyone with information on Jones' whereabouts is asked to call police at (415) 558-5508 or (415) 553-1071.
